India being the second most populated country with a population of 1.25 billion and counting, the transportation sector is in an alarming position. Parking vehicles is becoming a nuisance each passing day forcing people to park their vehicles on roads, thus becoming the major cause of traffic jams. Automatic multi level car parking system plays a vital role in avoiding this mess and parking of more and more vehicles is made possible in an arranged manner.

Integrating Data Warehouse With OLAP Server

Jitendra Singha, Shivani Sharmaa
aSri Ramaswamy Memorial University (SRM)

Data warehouse is the collection of information gathered by the other resources. Basically Data warehouse is used to collect the data from the Data warehouse. This paper is used to combine the Data warehouse and On-Line analytical processing (OLAP) server and also compare the technology of On-Line transaction processing (OLTP) and On-Line analytical processing (OLAP). Data warehouse is also subjective and based on time and decision technology. The main component is Data warehouse and OLAP server with the comparison of OLTP. OLTP is used for recent data for transaction based. OLTP is not used for large amount of data, whereas OLAP technique is used for historical data. OLAP technique is used for globally and analytical based. Basically OLAP technique is used for multidimensional data.

Experimental Optimization of Wear Parameters of Piston Ring Coated With Molybdenum

Ferit Ficicia, Sezer Kurguna
aFerit FICICI, Sakarya University, Faculty of Technology,54187, Sakarya, Turkey

In this study examine an experimental study of wear behaviour of piston ring. Reciprocating wear process parameters are optimized for minimum weight loss based on L27 Taguchi design with three process parameters, load, temperature and revolution. It is observed that load have the most significant influence on weight loss of piston ring. The experimental results are in good agreement with the values from the theoretical model.

An Overview on Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits

Satya Sai Srikanta

a Srm University, Ghaziabad, India

Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMIC's) are usually used for designing very high frequency and high powered electronics circuits. This important system benefits in the areas of cost, reliability, reproducibility, and control of circuit parameters. The MMIC also minimizes the electronics circuit. The low-loss properties of GaAs substrates, combined with the excellent microwave performance of  metal semiconductor FET's (MESFET's), allows a truly monolithic approach to microwave integrated circuits. With monolithic technique, all passive and active circuit elements and interconnections are formed into the bulk or onto the surface of the substrate with some deposition process, such as epitaxial, ion implantation,  sputtering, evaporation, and other methods. The paper deals a brief overview of microwave integrated circuits, monolithic microwave integrated circuits, and their application in microwave electronics and communications  area.

Keywords: Applications, circuits, communication, electronic circuit, hybrid, integrated, microwave, monolithic, radar, systems.
